Steps
- 1
Cut the onions into small dices.
- 2
Put minced meat into a bowl.
- 3
Add diced onions, eggs, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, chicken powder and cooking oil. Mix well for about 10 minutes.
- 4
Take a handful of the meat mixture and place it on your palm.
- 5
Shape the meat mixture to be a round patty and slap it on your other palm repeatedly until it flattens.
- 6
Make a small hole on the patty with your finger. The purpose is to prevent the patty from bursting during grilling.
- 7
Place your pan on medium heat and add butter. Wait until it melts.
- 8
Put in the patty, maximum 2 patties at a time.
- 9
With medium heat, let one side of the patty cooks before flipping to the other side.
- 10
Once the patty is cooked, set aside. Let the grease stay on the pan. This will give aroma to the sauce.
- 11
Add in the mixture of sauce to the pan.
- 12
Let it simmer until you see small bubbles begin to form. Pour the sauce to a separate bowl.
- 13
Serve the Hambagu patty with the sauce set aside. You can add fresh salad with yogurt/garlic/Wafu/sesame dressing to complement the dish.
