Ingredients

30 minutes
2 people
  • 1 big bowl grated carrot
  • 1/2 cupsoaked moong dal
  • 1white or red onion finely chopped
  • 4 tbsppeanut powder
  • 1green chili finely chopped
  • 5-6curry leaves
  • 1 tspmustard seeds
  • 1 tspcumin seeds
  • Pinchasafoetida
  • 2 tbsplemon juice
  • 1 tbspsugar
  • As Per RequiredCoriander for garnishing
  • 1 tbspoil

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Soak moong dal for 1 hour. Grate carrot & keep in a mixing bowl.

  2. 2

    Take carrot, moong dal, peanut powder, onion, lemon juice, and sugar in a mixing bowl. Mix properly

  3. 3

    Make tempering. In a small pan add oil. When oil gets heated, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, asafoetida, green chili, and curry leaves.

  4. 4

    Pour into a mixing bowl. Mix all. Garnish with coriander. You may relish as a side dish in your meal.
