Ingredients

  • 100 gmsmaida
  • 4 tbsprice flour
  • 1 tspsalt
  • 1 tspred chilli powder
  • 1 tspchilli flakes
  • 1.5 tspcumin powder
  • 1.5 tspcoriander powder
  • 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  • 1 tspdried fenugreek
  • 1 tbsplemon juice
  • 1/4 tspbaking soda
  • 2 tbspfreshly chopped coriander leaves
  • 1 tbspminced garlic cloves
  • 2green chillies, chopped finely
  • 500 grmsraw chicken, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 cupsVegetable Oil for deep frying
  • 1egg

Steps

    In a bowl, combine all the ingredients except for the oil and chicken. Add in cold water, a very small amount at a time, mixing each time until the mixture becomes thick. Add egg and then Mix in the chicken pieces

    Preheat some oil in a frying pan or karahi. Once the oil is hot, drop in some pieces of chicken, ensuring you don't overcrowd the pan. Turn them over a few times to ensure they brown evenly. Once the Pakoras become golden brown, remove using a slotted spoon and drain over a colander lined with tissue
