Come summer and mango shake becomes a common sight at my household. It's fuss-free to make and so fulfilling that it often replaces our entire breakfast
While some people enjoy it with ice cream and dried fruits and tutti frutti, the purist in me prefers the classic way, of making it with just mango, sugar and milk

Peel the skin off the mangoes. I had used some lovely Alphonso mangoes, but I even make mango shake with the evergreen safeda mangoes.

Chop and add the flesh of the mango in a blender jar.

Add sugar. The quantity of sugar would vary, depending on the sweetness of the mango being used.

Add milk and cubes of ice. Blend till everything comes together in a thick pulpy consistency.

Garnish with chopped mangoes and mint, and serve chilled.
