Firstly take rolled oats, dry roast in kadai. Till little crisp. Switch off flame. Allow to cool. You can add less or more proportion the combination of oats and rava.

Once cooled grind the oats to fine powder. In a pan grate carrot, cucumber. You can add vegetable of your choice. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander cumin powder and salt. Mix well. Add rava now. And add grinded oats.

Mix all the ingredients add water as required. Keep the batter little thick consistency. Now add seasoning. Heat little oil in pan, once hot add mustard seeds. Once splutter switch off the flame. Pour the seasoning on batter. Give rest to batter for sometime.

Heat the idli steamer with sufficient water. Grease idli plate with oil. Add batter in moulds. Keep it in steamer.

After 8- 10 mins. Check idli. Oats idli is ready to serve.
