This is so delicious and simple. It’s a real comfort food and can be a one-dish meal if you add in additional vegetables :) I intentionally didn’t add any salt to the pork mince as the shoyu on top was so sufficient for us.

Ingredients

  1. 300 gminced pork
  2. 3eggs
  3. 1/2 cupmushroom dashi (from soaked shiitake mushrooms)
  4. 2shiitake mushrooms
  5. Pork Mince Marinade
  6. 1 tbspChinese cooking wine
  7. 1/2 tbsptoasted sesame oil
  8. 1/2 tbspminced ginger
  9. 1/2 tbspmirin
  10. White pepper
  11. To serve
  12. 1 tspshoyu
  13. Parsley

Cooking Instructions

    Mix minced pork with seasonings. Set aside for 30 mins.

    Mix egg with mushroom dashi. Beat lightly.

  3. 3

    Place pork mince on steamed plate. Loosen it slightly. Then slowly pour in eggs mixture. Top with sliced mushrooms. Steam on medium low heat for 15-20 minutes.

    Top with fresh parsley and drizzle shoyu before serving.
