This is a very different seasonal pickle of jackfruit seeds ( kathal or fanas). First cooked seeds and then pour spicy tempering on it.
Steps

Clean,cut and cook seeds(don't overcook)

Drain all water and keep aside

Now make tempering

For this, heat oil in a pan

Add mustard dal

Saute for 1min on low flame

Add Asafoetida and all dry spices

Turned off the flame

Mix it well and pour this tempering on cut seeds

Add jaggery

Mix it well

Jackfruit seed pickle is ready to serve
