Hello guys today I'm sharing with you mango kulfi recipe..so I thought why not first of all you all are know the history of kulfi😊
Kulfi is a frozen dairy dessert originating in the Indian subcontinent during the Mughal era in the 16th century. It is often described as "traditional Indian ice cream."
This frozen Indian dessert traditionally made with thickened sweetened milk known as Rabri or dried milk solids called Khoya.
I have added Mango in my kulfi, but you can customize the flavoring to your own liking.
So guys let's started the recipe.
Steps
- 1
First to take a havey bottom sauce pan or wok and put milk in pan.
- 2
Once the milk has started boiling I'm reducing the flame to low.
- 3
Now add sugar in milk and stir it.
- 4
We will let the milk reduce to 1/3 the quantity. Make sure you have to frequently stir the milk
- 5
Until the texture of the milk get thicker.
- 6
I always prefer to use full cream milk to make kulfi for creamier texture of kulfi.
- 7
The milk is reduced 1/3 we will let the thicker milk cool down and until this happens, let's make mango puree.
- 8
I'm taking 1 big size peeled and chopped mango in blender, let's blend this and make puree.
- 9
Now add this puree and dry nuts in the thicker milk and mix it properly with help of spoon or hand blender.
- 10
The kulfi mixture is ready, now all we have to do is transfer it into air tight container or kulfi moulds and garnish with some dry nuts.
- 11
Well I don't have kulfi moulds so I set my kulfi in normal air tight container.
- 12
Cover this with silver foil papers and close the lid of container.
- 13
Now we will let the kulfi in freezer for 8 to 10 hours.
- 14
For the best kulfi always pick the smooth and non fibrous mango.
- 15
Now are kulfi is ready for the serve, cut this in your desire shape and serve chilled kulfi.
