Ingredients

Serves 2 servings
  1. 6 tablespoonscorn flakes (about 25 grams)
  2. 2 tablespoonsbutter, melted (about 30 grams)
  3. 20strawberries
  4. 3eggs
  5. 3 1/2 ouncesbittersweet chocolate (about 100 grams)
  6. 2 packetsvanilla sugar (about 2 tablespoons)

Steps

  1. 1

    Crush the corn flakes, mix with the melted butter, and press the mixture into two 3-inch (8 cm) round molds.

  2. 2

    Make the chocolate mousse: Whisk the egg yolks with the vanilla sugar. Add the melted chocolate. Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form, then gently fold them into the chocolate mixture.

  3. 3

    Hull and cut 18 strawberries in half (leave 2 whole). Arrange the halved strawberries around the inside edge of each mold.

  4. 4

    Pour the chocolate mousse into the molds, filling to the top.

  5. 5

    Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

  6. 6

    Carefully remove from the molds and place a whole strawberry on top before serving.
