Ingredients

30-40 minutes

4 servings

300 gany tomatoes
2med onions
Tbspany oil. I used olive oil
100 mlwater
2veg stock cubes
Tspchilli powder
Tspgarlic powder
Tspginger powder
1 tintomatoes
300 mlmilk or cream

30-40 minutes

Gently fry tomatoes and onions.

Add all other ingredients except milk and stir.

Turn to a low heat and simmer for 30 minutes.

Blend then add the milk and return to heat for five minutes.

Serve with a dollop of cream and dried or fresh parsley.

Excellent. We all need a “house tomato soup”. Using the small tomatoes is very good coz they usually have much more concentrated flavour.
