Halloween on the Haunted Island

Every year, when pumpkin season arrives, Halloween comes with it, and almost every dessert and dish features pumpkin. This cake is no exception—it's made with pumpkin and decorated entirely with chocolate. There are two cakes: one is an island with two jars of honey, surrounded by cats, witches, and bees and butterflies, all coming to the haunted island to compete for the honey. But in the end, the ghost wins and takes the honey for itself, while the cats, witches, and bees and butterflies just circle around the ghost. That's the second cake.

Steps
- 1
To make the pumpkin cake, please refer to the cake recipe below.
- 2
Bake at 350°F (210°C) for about 20 minutes. Check with a toothpick—if it comes out dry, the cake is done. Prepare to melt the chocolate.
- 3
For the chocolate decorations: First, melt the white chocolate. Place it in a bowl and microwave for 1 minute. Take it out, stir well, then microwave for another 30 seconds. Remove and add 2 teaspoons olive oil, stirring until smooth and melted. Pour into molds to create shapes and decorate the cake. Repeat the same process with the dark chocolate, but work quickly because the chocolate will harden as it cools.
- 4
For the two cakes—the haunted island and the ghost face—since the chocolate sets quickly, it's best to decorate first and then take photos afterward.
