  • 2 cupswater
  • 1 tspturmeric (for best result use fresh turmeric)
  • Juice and zest of half lemon
  • 1 tbspgrated ginger
  • pinchblack pepper
  • 1 tbsphoney/gur

    In a pot, add all these ingredients together and bring to boil. Once it starts boiling, lower the heat and let it simmer for about 10 minutes.

    Strain the tea through a sieve or tea strainer. Serve with a slice of lemon, mint or drop of honey
