Beetroot salad with walnuts
The recipe I have learned from my grandmother. I have loved it since childhood.
Steps

Add unpeeled beetroots to a pot of water and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer until beetroots are cooked and soft when pierced with a fork. (around 50 minutes) - 2
Peel and grate beetroots into a bowl on a medium grater.

Press the garlic through a garlic press

Chop the walnuts into small pieces

Chop the prunes
- 6
Add all the ingredients and mayo to a bowl
- 7
Season with salt and mix to combine.

Ideally, let the salad chill in the fridge for about 30 minutes before serving. (Also, the salad tastes great the next day.)
