Ingredients

20 minutes
2-4 servings
  • 2purple Brinjal
  • 1/2 cupbesan/chickpeas flour
  • 1.5 Tbsprice flour
  • 1/4 Tspturmeric powder
  • as requiredSalt to taste
  • as per requirementWater to make batter
  • 1/4 cupoil
  • 1/2 Tsproasted cumin and dry red chilli powder
  • someChopped green coriander leaves

Steps

20 minutes
  1. 1

    Chop the Brinjal as rounds.

    Prepare the batter with besan, rice flour, turmeric powder, and salt.

    Heat oil in medium flame. Dip a roundel of Brinjal in the batter and fry both the sides till done.

    Sprinkle roasted cumin seeds powder and garnish with chopped coriander leaves. Serve hot with steamed rice.
