This is my favourite fish dish 💞 It’s an authentic Japanese home dish which you can easily make with ingredients available in UK! I bought this cod fish in a Spiny & Lobster in Bristol 🐟
Steps

Remove excessive liquid by using a kitchen towel.

Add water and sake in a pan. Once it’s boiled, turn the heat to low and put the slices of cod. Use a spoon to scoop the sake and cover the fish to cook it with heat.

Add ginger slices and sugar. Then add soy sauce and mirin. Simmer the fish until the sauce becomes thicken.

Serve on a plate. Enjoy!
