Chop the onion, carrots, and apple. The pieces don't need to be very small since you'll blend them later.

Season the turkey tenderloins with salt and pepper. Dredge them in flour. Sear in a skillet over high heat until golden brown.

Remove the tenderloins and, in the same oil, sauté the onion, carrots, and apple.

Once the onion is translucent, add the cup of water and the cup of sweet wine. Let the alcohol evaporate over high heat. After a few minutes, turn off the heat and transfer everything to the slow cooker.

Add the turkey tenderloins and cook on high for 3 1/2 hours.

You can wait until the end of the cooking time, or with one hour left, blend the sauce and return everything to the slow cooker. Ready to serve with potatoes or rice!

When making this for just two people, I use the extra space to cook potatoes in the slow cooker as well, placing them in a foil pouch with a little oil, pepper, and salt. This keeps them from absorbing the vegetable liquid and makes them come out like baked potatoes.
