Originaly Chunda is prepared by using raw mango...But in this recipe I swiped raw mango by Indian Gooseberry that is amla. Awesome in taste. Must try it. It can be served like chutney.

Originaly Chunda is prepared by using raw mango...But in this recipe I swiped raw mango by Indian Gooseberry that is amla. Awesome in taste. Must try it. It can be served like chutney.
Steps

First of all, grate amla with a grater and keep it aside in a clean vessel. Heat a kadhai, put grated amla in it and fry for 2 minutes. Now add jaggery to the amla and mix well and the jaggery will melt.

Add Clove and cardamom in it. Cook on low flame until the amla is cooked. Now add black salt, jeera powder, red chilli powder, black pepper powder to it and mix well.

In this add half tsp lemon juice and mix it well. Cook on low flame for 5 minutes.

Cool this Chunda and keep it in a dry glass vessel. You can use it for whole year.

Amla Chunda is ready to serve.
