In a pan, add oil, cumin seeds, asofedita, tomato and all the spices. Mix well and add water. Cook till tomato is mushy and gravy like.

Now add the boiled desi chana and cook for 5-10mts unti spices are absorbed in it.

Now add fenugreek leaves and cook covered for 2-3mts. Now add sugar and mix well again cook covered for 2mts. Add lemon juice.

Serve hot with puri or paratha.
