Cook rice in pressure cooker or rice cooker till it becomes soft. Allow it to cool down to room temperature.

In a bowl, take curd and chana besan. Add all the spices and mix well to remove lumps.

In a nonstick pan, add oil and heat it. Add all the ingredients into the hot oil, allow it to flutter. Add beaten curd into the oil with constant stirring. Add 1/4 cup water and allow it to boil.

Add cooked rice into the kadhi and mix thoroughly. Cook under low flame with occasional stirring till the excess water dries out.

Switch off the burner. Serve kadhi rice in a plate or bowl and enjoy.
