In a pot drain the amount of the pulse you need and soak it for one hour or so. Leave the pot there until you have prepared the gravy. Boil the pulse if needed to under the conditions that if it hasn’t soften yet.

In a cooking pot, add oil to heat. And cook ginger, garlic and onion in the pot. Stir until the onions are golden.

Add tomato sauce in the pot and sauté for some minutes. Add water in.

Now that the gravy is done, add the pulse in this gravy and mix on medium low heat.

Serve with greens.
