I wanted to come up with a recipe using the rice cooker.

Everything is left up to the rice cooker so I don't have any hints. Just switch on your rice cooker machine on as you would with regular rice. Recipe by Komatsuta

Ingredients

  1. 350 gramsPork for making roast pork (thin block)
  2. 40 mlSoy sauce
  3. 100 ml★Sake
  4. 100 mlMirin
  5. 50 mlWater
  6. 1piece/clove each ★ Ginger and garlic

Cooking Instructions

    Make the thin block of pork ready.

  2. 2

    Brown the surface of the pork in a frying pan. You don't need to cook it through, you just need to brown it.

  3. 3

    Put the pork and the ★ ingredients in the rice cooker and switch it on. If you have any leftover bits of green onion or leek and other aromatic vegetables, put those in too.

  4. 4

    The pork is done when the rice cooker switches off.

  5. 5

    Slice into your desired thickness.
