Ingredients

  • 50 grmsBanana stem
  • 1/2 cupcurd
  • 2 tablespoonsGrated coconut
  • 1/2 tspsalt
  • 1red chilli/ green chilli
  • 1/2 tspoil
  • 1/4 tspmustard seeds
  • Coriander leaves for garnish

Steps

  1. 1

    Finely chop banana stem and put it in water.so that it doesn't change its colour.

    Grind chillies, grated coconut to a fine paste. Add with whisked curd, salt.

    Add chopped Banana stem with the whisked curd, salt and grinded coconut paste.

    Heat oil, add mustard wait till it splutter's well. Add to the curd raita. Vazhathandu Thayir Pachadi is ready to serve.
