Yellow split pea dal

Take all the needed ingredients. Wash and soak yellow spilit peas around 1 hour.

Take 4cup of water in a bowl,boil it. Then add soaked yellow spilit peas. Once it boils,add turmeric powder and salt,close and cook until it cooked completely.

Then mash the split peas. At the same time,in a hot tawa, pour oil and do seasoning with cumin,fennel, Fenugreek seeds then add diced onion,ginger,garlic and chilli,then saute. Then add garam masala mix well.

At last,add the seasoning into the yellow split peas dal and mix. Sprinkle coriander leaves and serve with chappathi/rice.
