Steak Stew
I learned this from my mom—it's super easy to make and delicious!
Steps
- 1
Dice the garlic, onion, and whole tomato. In a pot, heat the oil and add the onion. Sauté for 2 minutes, then add the garlic, tomato, oregano, salt, pepper, and bay leaf. Cook for 5 minutes, then add the water and cook for 15 minutes.
- 2
After 15 minutes, add the peeled potato, sliced into rounds, and cook until the potato is tender.
- 3
Meanwhile, while the sauce is cooking, pound the steaks, season with salt and pepper, coat with breadcrumbs, and fry them. Add the fried steaks to the pot and cook for 5 minutes.
- 4
The breadcrumbs help thicken the sauce. If it gets too dry, add a little more water. Taste for salt and it's ready!
- 5
This time, I used seasoning mix instead of salt and pepper on the meat, and it turned out really tasty.
