Chitoi Pitha is a popular traditional Pitha of Bengal prepared with newly harvested Rice to celebrate the Harvest festival.
Have served with sweet sweet Date Palm Jaggery syrup.

Steps

Soak Rice for 6-7 hours and then make a smooth paste.
Add salt and mix well, add water as required.
It requires a thick yet dropping consistency. - 2
Take Appe Pan, grease the moulds with little Oil, pour 1 tbsp of batter and cook for few minutes.

Flip and cook for around 2 minutes, Rice Cakes are done.

Follow the same process with rest of the batter. Serve with Jaggery and enjoy.

This can be even served with Tea.
