Ingredients

  • 500 gManually Blended Egusi Powder
  • Palm Oil 1-2cksp
  • 3 tbsMashed Okpei Paste
  • Powdered Crayfish 3cksp
  • 1-2 tbsChill Pepper Powder
  • 3 tbsDiced Onions
  • Meat&stock,
  • Dried Fish (dehoned&clean)
  • 3/4 CupWarm Water
  • 11/2 tbsOnga Classic Seasoning Powder
  • Sliced Uziza leaves 150g
  • Water (controlled)

Steps

  1. 1

    Add egusi & Onion to a bowl,add water,mix well with a wooden spatula till smooth& think

    Now,add meat&stock,dried fish,Palm oil,pepper, Crayfish powder,,okpei mixture, seasoning powder 1tbs to a pot,add 3cups of water,bring to boil

  3. 3

    When it boils,make balks with the egusi or scoop in with lil spoon one by one till exhausted

  4. 4

    Set flame on low/med

  5. 5

    After 3mins,use wooden spatula to mash some by pressing it on body of pot,push it in back with spatula,you may add lil more water based on the consistency you desire,taste to adjust with either Crayfish powder and seasoning powder or one of them,cover with lid

  6. 6

    5mns to max time,add leaves or vegetable stir well,cook opencook till full time

  7. 7

    Plate and enjoy with morsel of choice
