Soak rice for few hours.

Marinate chicken with all the ingredients for 30 minutes.

Boil the rice.

Finely chop the onion.

Mix colour and milk together.

Heat oil in a pan.

Add in onion and ginger garlic.

Fry till onion is translucent.

Add in chicken along with marination and 1/2 cup of water.

Cook till chicken is tender and water evaporates.

Add in all the other ingredients.

Cook covered on dum for 15 minutes.

Serve hot.
