Matka Custard Kulfi

Also very easy recipe.
Steps

Take 2 litres of milk in a thick bottomed vessel. Take 1/2 cup milk from this and mix in 2tbsp custard powder in it and keep aside.

Heat the rest of the milk and bring to a boil. Stir in between to avoid sticking and burning at the base. Continue to heat the milk on medium flame. Scrape the malai that sticks on the walls of the container.

When milk is reduced to half in quantity, add in the custard milk mixture. Stir continuously to avoid lumps.

Now finally add in the sugar and mix well to dissolve it. Switch off gas after 3-4 minutes and add in elaichi powder. Cool completely to room temperature. Set as it is, for chunky texture in the kulfi. Or churn using a hand blender and make a smooth texture.

Fill into freezer safe matkis and air tight container. Cover the matka custard kulfi with foil paper.

Set in freezee for 10-12 hours and enjoy with family and friends.
