Sift the dry ingredients together. Chop the nuts finely with a knife. Let the butter come to room temperature.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Mash one banana with a fork.

Blend the other banana into a creamy texture using a hand mixer. Gradually add the wet ingredients and mix for about 3 minutes.

Add the sifted dry ingredients and mix. Add the mashed banana and nuts, and gently combine.

Pour the mixture into a greased and lightly floured loaf pan. Bake for 30-40 minutes. It's done when a skewer inserted comes out clean.
