Cooking Instructions

Grind the chickpeas finely with the onions, garlic, and cilantro.

Add the coriander, falafel spice mix, salt, and cornstarch, and mix well. Now the falafel mixture is ready.

Add the baking soda or baking powder just before frying.

Heat the oil and shape the falafel using a mold. Fry over medium heat until golden brown.

If making a large batch, only add baking powder to the portion you plan to fry.
