Steps

First, coat the shredded dough with 1 cup of ghee.

Then, grease a baking pan with ghee.

Spread half of the dough evenly in the bottom of the pan.

Spread the ashta (cream) over the dough, then cover with the remaining dough.

Bake in the oven for about 30 minutes, or until golden and cooked through.

Pour the prepared syrup over the hot knafeh.
