Wash and peel suran well.
Cut it into thin slices.
Apply kokam juice (aagal). Keep it aside for 15 to 20 minutes. - 2
In a mixing bowl add suran slices and add all ingredients mention above for masala coating.
Coat all spices well on suran and again let it marinate for 10 minutes. - 3
In another bowl add rice flour, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt. Mix it and keep it aside

Now coat marinated suran into rice flour mixture.

Heat up oil on tawa. And fry coated suran slices on low to medium flame till crisp and cook well from all sides.

Serve it hot as a starter or side dish. It tastes devine. Kids love it as crispy vegetarian fish.
