Chana and Potato Masala

Take all the needed ingredients. Soak chana at least 8 8hrs.

In a pan, dry roast all the ingredients which mentioned for grinding. Cool it down and transfer to a mixer grinder,grind as fine paste, then add sliced onion and pour Some water and grind.

Now in a cooker, add oil then do seasoning with cumin seed, curry leaves. Then add diced potato. Saute around 2mts. Then add grinded paste,ginger garlic paste. Saute,until oil separates.

Then add all the spices and mix well. Then add tomato pure,salt and,saute.

Then add soaked chana. Mix well and pour required amount of water according to the consistency of the masala you need. Here I have used 600ml of water.

Let it boil and check salt level. Finally,close the lid and wait for 6 whistle. After it cools down, open the lid,mix and sprinkle coriander leaves.

Thatsall. Easy and delicious Chana and Potato Masala is ready to.serve. It goes well with roti,chappathi,parotta.
