It's summer time and the need for thirst quenchers is ever increasing. Being a Nutritionist, I would suggest that we make these cooling beverages , icecreams, lollies, sorbrts at home instead of buying from the market. So I have tried this delicious recipe. You can try and share your comments!

Ingredients

4 servings

5 piecesdried kokum soaked in 1 cup water (add more kokum if you like sour taste)
Alphonso Mango Popsicles
4 tablespoonsorganic gulkand
Sama Rice Rose Mithai (भगरीची मिठाई)
5 dropsrose water or essence
2 pinchblack or rock salt
2 cupswater
1 tsprose petals to garnish

20 minutes

First, crush the kokum in water and strain it. Reserve the water.

Mix the gulkand, black salt & rose water in kokum water, blend together well.

Now fill this in ice trays and freeze for 3 to 4 hours.

Remove from trays, transfer to a mixer jar and crush by pulse method till you get fine ice mixture.

Then serve rounds of this mixture garnished with rose petals and enjoy!
