I decided to incorporate sweet potato into this porridge replacing plantain; I wanted to try something different and it worked so good.

I decided to incorporate sweet potato into this porridge replacing plantain; I wanted to try something different and it worked so good.
Steps

Put beans on fire allow it cook till its almost soft, add diced potatoes. Cook till it soft set aside.

Add the palm oil to a large pot, set on medium heat. Cover and bleach for 2-3 minutes, add in the chopped onion, saute for 2 minutes, add in the blended pepper. Cover and leave to cook for 5 minutes and stir occasionally

Add in the salt, knorr, smoked fish, crayfish, and then pour the cooked beans and sweet potato stir properly. Cover and leave to cook on medium heat for 7-10 minutes

Stir, taste and adjust for seasoning. Cover and cook for another 3mins and turn off heat.

Serve with pap, ijebu garri or just drink a cup of water afterward.
