Make a checklist. keep ingredients within reach. : 1. Soak raw rice, urad dal and fenugreek seeds in water for at least 4 hours. soaked horse gram in a separate bowl.
Soak the puffed rice in a separate bowl for 30 minutes just before grinding the rice and dals. - 2
Add all soaked ingredients in small batches to the blender jar, add water and grind into a smooth batter. Transfer the prepared batter to a separate bowl and add salt. Mix well. Ferment this batter for 8 hours / overnight in the room temperature. Mix the batter well after fermentation.

I used cast iron skillet. Heat the skillet over medium high heat and spread some oil over it. Pour a ladle of batter on the skillet and spread it evenly like a regular dosa. Add ghee/oil to the edges of dosa. Once the dosa is roasted on one side, flip it to the other side and roast again. Once the dosa is roasted nicely on both sides, take it off from the pan. Ttransfer to a serving plate

Serve the horsegram dosa hot and with any chutney of your choice/ idli powder with oil or curd or sambar.
