Samun is traditional Macedonian recipe with big tradition.
There's famous festival named Samun em Tatlija who traditionally is happening every year in October (sometimes September)
But, I want to share with you the recipe that I grow up with in my hometown.

But, I want to share with you the recipe that I grow up with in my hometown.
Steps

First, a simple dough is prepared which is left in an earthenware dish and in the evening it is kneaded with yeast, some flour, lukewarm water, salt and sugar.

Add flour and hot water and knead a soft dough that is divided into balls of 250 g. which are left on a floured surface to mature.

Then, with your hands, roll the dough into an elliptical shape with raised ends and arrange finely chopped pork or chicken or mixed white cheese and eggs or sasdrama

It is all rubbed with lard and baked as needed in a traditional grill oven about 30-40 minutes (depends)

After removing, the ends are greased again and covered to soften.
It can be eat with pickles (cucumbers) or pepperoni peppers
