Make 2 slashes on both sides of the drumsticks.

In a bowl mix together garlic, paprika, coriander powder, salt and lemon juice.

Cover the chicken drumsticks with the marinade and let rest in the fridge for 1 hour.

Preheat a grill on medium fire and brown the chicken drumsticks on all sides. Remove and set aside.

Heat the oil in a pan and fry the onions, cashews and chili flakes for 4 minutes.

Add in water, sauces and sugar and stir well.

Once sauce is bubbling, add chicken drumsticks and mix well to coat with sauce.

Cover with a lid and let simmer for 20 minutes.

Place the chicken drumsticks on a plate and drizzle the sauce over with a little bit of oil.

Garnish with cilantro.
