6 pudding cup
  • 350gMilk
  • 150gHeavy cream
  • Caster sugar 40g
  • gelatin powder 1 teaspoon or 2 gelatin sheets
  • Vanilla paste (optional)

    In a saucepan, combine milk, heavy cream, and caster sugar.

  2. 2

    Place the saucepan over medium heat. Stir the mixture gently and continuously to prevent it from scorching.
    Heat until the sugar fully dissolves into the liquid. This will take about 2-3 minutes.

    (Make sure the mixture doesn't come to a boil.)

    At the meantime. In a small bowl, put the gelatin powder (or gelatin sheets) over a small amount of cold water.
    Let it sit for few minutes to bloom and hydrate.

  4. 4

    Remove the saucepan from the heat. Add the bloomed gelatin to the warm mixture, and stir gently until the gelatin is completely dissolved.
    This should take just a minute or so.

    Add in vanilla paste or vanilla extract if desired.

  5. 5

    Pour the mixture into your desired molds or serving containers.
    Then allow it to cool slightly before putting your panna cotta in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to set!
