Ingredients

make 20-22 servings
  • 1 kgchicken mince
  • 2medium sized onions, roughly chopped
  • 2large green chillies, roughly chopped Or according to your taste
  • 1/4 cupfresh coriander leaves finely chopped
  • 1/4 cupred bell pepper roughly chopped
  • 1tblsp lemon juice
  • 1 tspgaram masala powder
  • 2 tspred chilli flakes
  • 1/2 tspblack pepper powder
  • 1 tspred chilli powder Or according to your taste
  • 1& 1/2 tblsp dry whole coriander seeds
  • 1tblsp white cumin seeds
  • 1tblsp ginger paste
  • 1tblsp garlic paste
  • 3tblsp tomato puree (from store bought)
  • 2 tspSalt Or according to your taste
  • Oil, for shallow frying

    Place all of the ingredients into a food processor.

    The onion, green chillies, garam masala, dry whole coriander, white cumin seeds, ginger, garlic paste, red chilli powder, black pepper powder, tomatoe purée, red bell pepper, lemon juice and salt.
    Blitz until all the ingredients resemble a coarsely paste.

    Don't add any water during this process.
    Scrape down the sides using a spatula.

    Now add the chiken blitzing 3 to 4 time take out the mince in a large mixing bowl. Add fresh coriander leaves and red chilli flakes mix by hand very well.

    Marinate the chicken mince atleast 1 hour in a refrigerator.

    Make kababs and keep aside.

    Heat oil in a non-stick pan, and place the kababs and cook on medium flame till gets a golden colour all around.

    Place the kababs on a serving plater.

    Serve them hot with mint-coriander chutney, lemon wedges and lachha onions with naan or rice.

    #Tips:

    It tastes better when you marinate it, but if you have to make it immediately, it still tastes good.

    Leftover kebebs let them cool down and FREEZE them up to 1-month.

    then can be used when ever required (microwave, grill).
