New year Winter Season Recipe Delicious Moong Dal Halwa

Wash properly soak moong dal for 4 hrs. After 4 hrs. drain the water. Transfer to a grinder and grind coarsely. Don't add water. Heat ghee in a Kadai.

Then add moong dal mixture. In a slow flame stir it continuously. Till it is light brown in colour. Or till the raw smell of dal goes off. If you want stir it it will stick at the bottom of the kadai.

Then add milk as needed. Immediately stir it. Add sugar, cardamom powder. Cook till the ghee separate from the kadai.

Once it is done. Then transfer to a serving plate. Immediately serve.
