Peas and makhana curry is a delicacy.In most of the parties it is served as a main dish.I have made it with cashew nut and Pumpkin seeds and some aromatic spices.

Dry roast makhana.Keep it aside.Steam peas and keep aside.

Wash cashew nut and musk melon seeds.Boil 1 cup water,add cashew nut, muskmelon seeds and onion.Cook it for 10 min.Let it cool.

Grind boiled cashew nut, muskmelon seeds and onion to a smooth paste.Kerp it aside.

Heat oil in karahi,add whole spices, cumin,green chilli and ginger garlic paste.Saute.

Add cashew nut paste and cook it for 7-8 min.Add 1 cup water and cook it for 6-7 min.

Strain the gravy.Again in the same karahi transfer the gravy.Add peas and makhana.Mix salt and black pepper powder.Cook it for 5-6 min.

Your delicious peas and makhana curry in white gravy is ready to serve.Enjoy it with lachcha paratha or naan.
