Who doesn’t love the beautiful candied confectionery, tutti frutti! But, have you ever wondered what tutti frutty is made of? Or did it ever cross your mind to make them at home? Well if the answer to any of these is yes, I have a quick tutti frutty recipe for you.
I am sharing a quick and easy tutti frutty recipe. And by the end of my recipe, you will be confident to make it easily at home. And you will never need to buy them from the store!
Home-made tutti fruity is hygienic and used pure colour so you can use it in cakes, ice-cream,pudding or any confectionery items.

Peel and deseed the papaya. Cut it in a small piece and wash it.

Boil the water,add papaya pieces and cook for 80 %,then drain the water and spread papaya pieces on a cotton cloth to dry.

In the meantime, make a sugar syrup. Add sugar and water in a pan,boil it till the syrup gets sticky.(No need for any string consistency). switch off the gas. divide the Syrup in a for bowl with equal quantity and add all four colours along with the relative essences.Now add the dry Papaya pieces in each bowl equally. Mix well and leave it for 2-3 hours or till the pieces absorb the syrup and stick the colour well.

Lastly,remove pieces from the bowl and transfer in a strainer as shown in a pic. Cover with the net cloth and let it stay Overnight under the fan to drain out extra syrup. Next day the papaya pieces become dry and colourful.

That's the tutty fruity. Yummy, Multi coloured and in dry form. Put it in the air tight container and use it as required. Enjoy..
