Phyllo Meat Pie (Goulash with Ground Beef)
A great recipe for lunch.

Prepare the ground beef: Sauté the onions until translucent, then add the ground beef, salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, and tomato paste. Cook until the beef is browned and the mixture is well combined.

Prepare the phyllo dough: Mix ghee (or butter) with oil in a bowl. Layer the phyllo sheets in a baking dish, brushing each sheet with the ghee and oil mixture. After half the sheets, spread the beef mixture evenly, then continue layering the remaining phyllo sheets, brushing each with the ghee and oil. Sprinkle the top with sesame seeds and Romano cheese or any hard cheese you have on hand.

Cut the pie into squares with a knife. In a separate bowl, mix the milk with salt, black pepper, baking powder, and 1 tablespoon ghee (or butter). Stir well, then pour the milk mixture evenly over the pie. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 25 minutes, or until golden brown. Keep an eye on it while baking.

Note: In this recipe, I skip the eggs usually added to the milk, and the taste is even better from my experience!
