Beetle-y Banana Bread
Very moist banana bread with a buggy twist!
Steps

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and lightly grease a loaf pan

In a bowl, mash the bananas into an apple sauce-like consistency and add 2 eggs, 3/4 cups of sugar, and 1/2 cup of softened butter

In a separate bowl, mix 1 1/2 cups of flour and 1 teaspoon of baking soda. Then add the mixture to the first bowl

Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, 1 teaspoon of maple syrup, and 5-8 June beetles and mix. After everything is fully incorporated, transfer the batter to the greased loaf pan

Bake in the oven at 350 degrees F for 55-60 minutes, OR, until you can poke the loaf with a toothpick and it comes out clean (no residue on the toothpick when you pull it out)

Let the loaf rest for at least 10 minutes at room temperature before transferring to a different container and cutting it
