No Bake Stuffed Loaf
Tastes and looks super yumm, without that much effort. Use it to impress. :)
Steps
- 1
Find a fresh uncut loaf of a bread of your choice.
- 2
Saute onions and green chillies until it turns translucent. Add ginger garlic paste and tomatoes and leave until raw flavour disappears.
- 3
Add the chicken and the remaiining ingredients. Add pepper only if you want it spicier, taste as you go and decide.
- 4
Close the lid and leave it on low heat for 5 minutes. Meanwhile get your loaf ready.
- 5
Cut a hole on one end of the loaf, and keep this piece aside. Scoop out the bread insides, enough to make room for the stuffing. Not too little, that when you take a slice there's more bread than filling.
- 6
Once the filling is ready, stuff the loaf generously. Again, don't overdo it else it will fall apart when you slice. Close the hole with the slice of bread you kept aside.
- 7
Beat an egg. And brush across the loaf.
- 8
Take a pan that can hold the loaf, add a teaspoon oil (you can use butter for this step also) and put the loaf on. 2 minutes on each face or till you get a nice golden crisp.
- 9
Rest till it cools. Cut beautiful slices. Serve. Evil laugh to self as you watch the amazement in other's eyes. :)
