  • 63 GramsCocoa Powder , unsweetened
  • 230Grams Flour (sifted)
  • 300 GramsSugar (powdered)
  • 3Eggs
  • 200 GramsButter , unsalted
  • 3 TeaspoonsBaking power
  • 3/4 TeaspoonSalt
  • 2 TeaspoonsVanilla Extract
  • 120 Millilitreswater Boiling
  • 120 Millilitreswater

  1. 1

    Prepare a 10 inch bundt pan by rubbing with butter and then dusting with flour and keep aside. Preheat oven to 180.

  2. 2

    Mix the cocoa powder in boiling water and whisk until no lumps are left. Cover with a cling foil and let it stand till it reaches room temperature.

  3. 3

    In a separate bowl mix the eggs, water and vanilla and beat a little.

  4. 4

    Add flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in another bowl. Add cocoa mixture and butter and combine well.

  5. 5

    Add the egg mixture in two steps and beat well after each addition.

  6. 6

    Add to the prepared pan and bake in the preheated oven for about 40 mins or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

  7. 7

    Decorate with powdered sugar and fresh strawberries if any.
