Mix all the ingredients together, gradually adding the flour. The butter should be at room temperature.

Take a walnut-sized piece of dough and roll it into a ball. Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Use a large fork to gently press down on each ball in the center to create a pattern.

Bake in a preheated oven at 320°F (160°C) for 15-20 minutes. Do not let the cookies brown; they should stay white.
