Steps

Get butter out from a fridge and cut in cubes or slice up.

Combine flour, salt and then butter in a bowl.

Use a pastry blender or hands, make butter chunky in the flour mix.

Add icy cold water. You may add a couple of teaspoon of water if needed.

Form a dough into a ball. Let it rest in a fridge at least half an hour.
- 6
Roll out the bottom dough and put it over the pie plate.
- 7
Add any filling of your choice and bake it for 40-60mins at 180C/350F.
