Warm water in a saucepan

Add sugar and salt (do not overdo)

Mix in the the wheat flour slowly by slowly to make a dough

Add some cooking oil and mix for few minutes..let It rest (cover with a clean cloth)

After It has rested start by rolling the whole dough in a flat surface then cut into strips and fold into nice round shapes ready for rolling

Roll using a rolling pin into a nice round shape

Place them over a moderately hot frying pan..cook on one side then turn later add the cooking oil

Makes ure it has cooked properly before you remove from the pan

Enjoy the soft chapati when hot

Ready to be eaten with any stew
